Paper Mason Terms of Use
Paper Mason is a local-first paperwork cleanup tool offered for testing. By checking the Terms box before entering the workspace, you agree to use this pre-release service as an organizational aid and to review the exported results before relying on them.
Local document handling
Source files are selected by you and processed in your browser by default. Paper Mason does not intentionally upload source files, filenames, OCR text, document text, page images, screenshots, raw local paths, or exact extracted document values.
Testing data
During the free testing period, optional first-party testing controls may share diagnostic events and limited sorting-improvement signals as described in the Privacy Policy. These controls are separate from Terms acceptance and can be turned off before use or later in settings.
No professional advice
Paper Mason does not provide legal, tax, accounting, financial, reimbursement, records-retention, medical, compliance, or audit advice. Labels, folders, warnings, indexes, and reports are cleanup suggestions only.
User responsibility
You are responsible for checking proposed filenames, folders, OCR-derived text, extracted fields, warnings, checklist status, and exported packets before using them for business, tax, medical, legal, or recordkeeping decisions.
Testing service limits
Paper Mason is provided during a free testing period. Features may change, break, be limited, or be discontinued. Do not use the testing build as your only copy of important records.
Acceptable use
Do not misuse the hosted app, bypass access controls, overload testing endpoints, or use Paper Mason for unlawful activity.
Legal placeholders
Warranty, liability, governing-law, dispute, operator, and contact terms are owner-review placeholders for the free testing build and must be finalized before any paid or wider public v1 release.
